His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, toured the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) following the first practice session of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2022 race. The Prince explained how the Kingdom has become a global destination for motorsport events. This is thanks to its skilled labor force and notable role in organizing and hosting successful races over the years.
Prince Salman was given an up-to-date briefing on preparations ahead of the final race during the tour, which included meetings with senior Formula 1 figures, such as team managers, racers, and race organizers. Aside from expressing his appreciation for the efforts made by the national workforce, the King also thanked them for their dedication to making various sporting events in the Kingdom a great success.
