    UAE launches General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority

    The United Arab Emirates has taken a significant step forward in the commercial gaming sector by formally establishing the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). This federal body is mandated to develop a pioneering regulatory framework for the nation’s lottery and commercial gaming activities.

    UAE launches General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority

    The GCGRA’s leadership team is composed of internationally recognized experts who are well-versed in the highest standards and best practices of the global gaming industry. Together, they aim to construct an effective, safe, and socially responsible environment for commercial gaming in the UAE.

    With its focus on social responsibility, the GCGRA is designed to ensure stringent compliance with ethical and safety guidelines. The body will oversee all regulatory functions, administer national licensing, and work diligently to unlock the economic promise of the commercial gaming sector, while upholding the highest standards of responsibility.
